My ASUS x550LDV doesnt support ubuntu.

My ASUS x550LDV doesnt support ubuntu.
So I cant make it boot as dual.
 Is there any way i can run it alongside with windows 8.1

Because I do have some softwares that should be ran along with an opensource system

You can resize your NTFS partition and make free space, then install to the new freed space when you boot USB

Try turning off secure boot. Another Asus model, the X200 had the problem of not booting off USB when secure boot was enabled.
