Asked by karlrhs

Auto mount is not working with my kingston usb pen drive. I have read the usb problems but could not find a fix that worked for me.

I have checked the above solution. The Access external storage device automatically box is checked but still does not auto mount. Thank you so much for your help with this matter. I am in your debt for your interest in helping me. I will send you something form Salt Lake City if we can fix this matter.

Thank you again.

So try "commandline way". Look to file /etc/group, find here line "plugdev". In the end of line there should be written your user name - example "plugdev:x:46:haldaemon,vojtech". Is there?

Thank you again for your quick response.

Here is the plugdev line.
plugdev:x:46:haldaemon,karl,larisa,adriana,root,parker
