cannot erase "ubuntu tour"

Ubuntu tour comes up first whenever I open Firefox. For example, when I just click a URL in a mail, it does not lead me to the site - it open a tab of Ubuntu tour! I can normally browse only later. How can I stop this tour's behavior?

Have you checked that the default browser page is not "http://www.ubuntu.com/tour/en/"

The hiccup is solved thanks to your timely advice. By unknown reason, my default browser was set to the tour application.
