forgot the system password cant get to the user password

My problem is I put a password into the system, now I don't remember it and i can't even get to the the setup utility or the boot manager. How do I get into the system to remove the system password? It keep saying enter current password.. I put in what I thought was the password and it says Verify error Please press enter to continue. I need help I don't have no other operating system on that computer.

I can't get that far I forgot the the password that I put into the boot manager. the part where you set the correct time, the part where you select what the order the computer read the drives.

So you set a BIOS password? That is not really an Ubuntu problem...

You don't need the BIOS. Just hold SHIFT at boot and you will see grub.

If you have set a BIOS password and have forgotten it, you have to ask the computer manufacturer how to reset it.
That very much depends on the hardware and BIOS software.
