Version of osm-gps-map in Utopic

I'm quite surprised to see here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/osm-gps-map that neither version 0.7.3-3ubuntu1 or version 1.0.2-1 went into Utopic. The current version, 0.7.3-3, is a buggy version.

Could somebody please explain why it is like that? How could we have done it differently to make sure that the effort we put into fixing these things for trusty also would have affected Utopic?

I cannot provide an explanation.

But there is a backport of 1.0.2 to trusty (in trusty-backports). If you create a bug report with a related request, I see good chances that this backport is also provided for utopic.

Thank you Manfred. I've now created two bug reports: LP: #1388215 and LP: #1388219 . Let's see what then happens
