i start up my ubuntu 7.10 and i get a tan screen with lines init it was working b4 idk wht i did to it i kno its not much detail idk how to explan wht its doing any assentanc would be great

When you login choose "failsafe mode" under "Seesion" under the "Options" screen and see if you can get in.
