Here too, after upgrading to Ubuntu 14.10 I see these lines in my dmesg output

[ 3.192395] ata14.00: irq_stat 0x40000001 <-- printed in red

[ 3.520696] ata14.00: configured for UDMA/66
[ 3.520821] ata14: EH complete

Any ideas where the exception and HSM violation is coming from and whawt we can do? It's printed in red.

Thanks!
