Ubuntu Touch on |grouper|

Asked by Shane Hutter

I am attempting to install Ubuntu touch on a Nexus 7 [2012] grouper
I have completed all previous steps up to: $ ubuntu-device-flash --channel=devel --bootstrap

it returns with this:
2014/10/22 16:48:52 Expecting the device to be in the bootloader... waiting
2014/10/22 16:48:52 Device is |grouper|
2014/10/22 16:48:52 Device grouper not found on server https://system-image.ubuntu.com channel devel

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or if Touch can no longer be installed on a Nexus 7 2012 version.

According to http://developer.ubuntu.com/start/ubuntu-for-devices/devices/

"Previous devices
These devices are no longer actively developed and are not supported as ongoing targets for Ubuntu development
Nexus 7 2012 | nakasi or nakasig | grouper | Deprecated"

So it seems that there is nothing in the "devel" channel for that device any more.
Maybe trying another channel (e.g. "trusty") finds the data for your device.

Can you help with this problem?
