Incomplete menu options when right-clicking network manager applet

Asked by Willing2Learn

I'm running on Lubuntu 14.04. I recently reinstalled my OS, and now my network manager applet is not working properly. When I right-click on my wireless connection, instead of getting the options I'm used to (I'm trying to configure my VPN), I only have the menu options "Repair" and "Disable". I have installed network-manager-openvpn, and it is updated to the latest version. Any thoughts?
