Ubuntu Windows 8.1 and windows 7 boot question

Asked by Richard Bowhall

I partitioned my 2T hard drive to install win 7, win 8.1, and Ubuntu each in their own partition. Ubuntu created a Grub boot that includes each OS.... when on power-up, if I choose either win 7 or win 8.1 from the grub menu, a windows boot screen comes up to choose either win 7 of win 8.1. It doesn't matter when windows OS I choose! I don't want to make the same selection again, when I choose it from GRUB, I just want the win 7 or win 8.1 to start!!!

Help!

Thanks in advance

Check the boot.ini on each partition. This is a Windows issue as Grub is chainloading to Windows then Windows (Not Grub or ubuntu) is showing the 2 options.

Windows guys will be able to show how to remove the other option from each partition's boot details (if it is possible at all)

Can you help with this problem?
