Installation pilote ATI radeon et fglrx MAIS (?!?) avant le redémarrage, nouvelle MàJ manuelle u14.04 et : Grub, id&Pw =OK MAIS Pas de Bureau sauf default wallpaper

1) installation ubuntu 14.04 LTS(double boot sur W7) puis, MàJ u14.04
--> 2) arrêt pc.
||Tout est OK||
3)installation pilote ati radeon & fglrx- et -> 4) (!) MàJ u14.04 juste après (securité)
--> 5) Reboot, Grub= OK, id&PW= OK MAIS : PAS DE BUREAU SAUF fond d'écran par défaut.

J'ai, quand même un peu cherché, le problème semble venir de moi au moins à un niveau: la MàJ ubuntu 14.04, dans la foulée et l'empressement. J'ai probablement fait erreur aussi, et surtout, en installant le pilote radeon propriétaire. Je ne m'y retrouve plus dans les chemins de fichiers .log, .so, ...
