Unable to install Kubuntu14.10 beta 2, graphic resolution too low

Asked by JohnEverest

I am unable to install Kubuntu 14.10 beta 2 64bit for testing only. The screen resolution is too low to read the options, It's ok until the selection of install or try. NOMODESET option does not help.

Primary OS is Kubuntu 14.04 64bit and graphics is using the NVIDIA 343.22 driver.
Any suggestions?

Try:

nouveau.blacklist=1

Or you can hold ALT and drag an application window from any point.

Added nouveau.blacklist=1 to options on F6 --*No change text resolution still too low*.

Please elaborate on "Or you can hold ALT and drag an application window from any point."

I have checked that Kubuntu 14.04 64bit release still installs without a problem.
Graphics card is GeForce GTX-750
