Epson driver for WF-3640

Asked by clombard

WF-3640. I need to get a print driver. I'm using 14.04.
I installed a driver from the epson website for linux.
It opened in the software installer. I installed it and the print is still not right.
Is there an Epson WF-3640 print driver for Linux...?
thanks

Did you downliad

epson-inkjet-printer-escpr_1.4.2-1lsb3.2_i386.deb
Or
epson-inkjet-printer-escpr_1.4.2-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb

What is the output of:

uname -a; lsb_release -a; lsusb

Thanks

Have you tried deleting the printer from Ubuntu then powering off the device and rebooting. Log back in and let the OS settle then power on the printer and configure.

Same result...NOT printing correctly.
When I boot Windows it prints beautifully.
Is the linux driver the problem.
thanks
