Ubuntu Utopic Net Installation Broken a known issue?

Hi,

My Ubuntu Utopic Net Installation failed in the middle because the linux-generic installation failure. Is it a known issue?

Yes because the OS is not ready and not stable. This is the case for ALL pre-releases.

Ifyou need an OS that works then I suggest you wipe Utopic off and do a clean install of Trusty. Trusty is LTS and is supported til April 2019. Utopic only has 9 months support after it is released next month.

If you are happy to stomach bugs and feature holes but want to submit bugs to get the OIS ready for release date then by all means, use Utopic but do NOT expect the ride to be smooth or painless. This will be the case even a few weeks after release.

That's ridiculously condescending, especially after the bug *has been filed* nearly 10 minutes ago.

This is really a good example of good support from ubuntu staff, your manager will be very proud of you andrew-woodhead666. If you don't want to help, please leave me alone. Don't be so harsh and condescending, we are not teenagers.

I'm not "Ubuntu staff". I'm a user just like you. My manager where I do work doesn't even use Ubuntu.

The bug has been reported, this will alert the development team to the issue
