Flash update ubuntu 13.04

Hello,

I have ubuntu version 13.04. I wanted to update the flash to the latest version the flash version starts with 202 and ends in 406.
I am sorry I do not have the whole number infroun of me.
Actually I wanted to ubpade a few other things but nothing from the software center loads at all. maybe because this version of ubuntu is out of date.

Is it better to update to a newer version or go back to 12.04? Any help with this would be appreciated.

I have 12.04 and 14.04 like both. 14.04 is supported longer.

Raring is no longer supported in any way. It is EOL. I suggest you wipe Raring off the system and do a clean install of Trusty. Trusty is LTS and supported til April 2019. You can then restore your user data from your backups.
