Boot to kernel higher then 3.13.0.29

Yesterday the Ubuntu update installed kernel 3.13.0.34 . when trying to boot into it I got the error message error: attempt to read or write outside of disk 'hd0'. the same situation is happen with any other kernel higher then 3.13.0.29. when choosing the 3.13.0.29 from the advanced option in GRUB there is no problem to boot.

any suggestions how to solve it?
