Ubuntu phone - no gsm after activating flight mode

Asked by j3lc

I have flashed Ubuntu Touch (devel-proposed channel) on my Nexus 4. After activating flight mode i have no gsm connection and i can't make calls.

Any suggestions how to activate gsm connection again.

Should i report a bug and how?

Flight mode is supposed to disable GSM connections, so in my opinion this is the way is should be, see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airplane_mode

Only when you disable flight mode, the telephone call function should work again.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. My problem is exactly this. I disabled flight mode but there is no telephone function.

Might be the same effect as bug #1355657

Can you help with this problem?
