Asked by Noel

When opening web sites I get a prompt that a flash plugin is needed. When I click install I get another prompt telling me that no suitable plugin can be found.

It looks like you don't have any flash plugin installed.

wait for @actionparsnip (andrew-woodhead666) response!

But have you tried go to adobe web page and download adobe flash plugin?

In your case it seems you can download the 32 or 64 version. because 32 run in 64 versions to.

But wait foractionparsnip (andrew-woodhead666)!!!

This is a forum, it is NOT real time. Calm down. You question can be open for 15 DAYS before it expires.

Try:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Use TAB and ENTER to accept the license, it will install flash as well as other goodies for you
