I have also done the following steps:
Download psmouse-alps-1.3: http://
Extract the folder psmouse-alps-1.3 to /usr/source
cd to /usr/source
dkms add psmouse-alps-1.3
dkms autoinstall
However
sudo rmmod psmouse && modprobe psmouse returned error
sudo rmmod psmouse && modprobe psmouse
ERROR: Module psmouse does not exist in /proc/modules
Please help in configuring the touchpad.
