where do kubuntoo install the downloaded programs?

I need big space for divers programs i need to know where kubuntoo 14.4 install the downladed programs please.

They will install all over the place. This is not Windows where programs keep to themselves. Shared libs (for example) will store in /lib and be stored only once. This means that if the lib is upgraded, it upgrades ALL applications that use it. They are also only stored in RAM once. This saves a lot of resources and is why a Linux install is a tiny fraction of a Windows install.

You will see the binary you run in /usr/bin but this is only a small part of the installed data.

Kubuntu installs programs onto the partiton it was installed to.
