14.04 - where is the battery info?

I have Ubuntu Linux 14.04 Server installed on my lenovo thinkpad. Under 12.04 the battery status info was in /proc/acpi/battery/* but it is no longer there in 14.04. Where do I find it? Did you leave it out? 'help proc' tells me that /proc/apm might have it, but that directory is missing. Did someone assume that severs never have batteries?

This is a support request, not a bug. If the battery status information is actually missing, then it becomes a bug.

Regarding the question, AFIK, acpi uses /sys instead of /proc by default. So if that's right, battery info should be in /sys/class/power_supply

In 12.03 it was in /proc. Now I must search /sys. Thank you very much for the information.
