can't drag guake from one screen to another since upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04

Hello,
in 12.04, when focus was on guake, I could grab the menu bar and drag guake to another screen. If I dragged to a menu bar on another screen, it would snap to full size on that screen.
Today I upgraded to 14.04, and now I cannot "grab" guake any more. The menu bar grabs whatever window is maximized and on top on the primary screen. Or if all other windows are not maximized , nothing happens at all when I grab the menu bar.
I have looked around to find what configuration might have changed, but no luck. does anybody know how I might get this function back?
