Firefox popup blocker

After I upgraded from Ubuntu 13.10 to 14,10 Firefox failed to block all popups even tho popup blocker was activated also I was unable to close some of the popuos and had to close Firefox to get rid of them.

I suggest you disable the popup blocker then reenable it. May help

Thanks for the help. I just reverted back to 13.10 and no longer have the problem.
