I'm new to Ubuntu, just installed it with a dual boot of Windows XP. Used UNIX years ago when taking some courses.
None of the videos while in firefox display correctly and some of the other images, but not all. Here is the result of the query:

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, but I've been very busy. Loging in on 2D, if I did it correcty, made no difference. Could it be that when I installed Ubuntu from a USB it did not load enough grafics packages?
