Firefox v28 ó 29 en Ubuntu 10.04

Hola buenas. Vereis. Uso Ubuntu 10.04, con el navegador firefox versión 20. Quisiera instalar la versión 28 ó 29 si ello es posible. Creo que de esa manera algunas funciones que no se pueden hacer con la versión 20 quedarían resueltas con las versiones 28 ó 29. Gracias. Saludos.

Hello good. You will see. Using Ubuntu 10.04 with firefox browser version 20. Would like to install the version 28 or 29 if possible. I think that way some functions that can not be done with version 20 would be resolved with versions 28 or 29. Thanks. Greetings.

If you are using the desktop 10.04 release, it is EOL (end of life). It is probably a good time to update to a newer release. Look closely, on the first site, for the release you choose, EOL.

Hi michael. If I upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04, can you return to ubuntu 10.04 without formatting?

My understanding is no. To go to older release you must do a complete new install. My favorite release is 10.04. I have upgraded because of no support and things just do not work with 10.04 anymore. If you will tell why, you want to stay with 10.04, there may be a work around that you like. I have 12.04 and 13.10 and use Gnome Classic. I also have Xubuntu 12.04. The layout is more to my likeing. The only thing I haven't been able to do, is bring certain games to 12.04 and 13.10. They were changed or dropped.

Hello fellow. Thanks for the input, and I have the pc running with Lubuntu 14.04 and that was the solution.
