Busybox boot error using Mc 64bit boot stick

When booting Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64bit for Ma) from a unetbootin made stick into live mode, there is BusyBox error about no viable media found. I have run the stick creation process twice to the same result. No options for interaction work once I hit this error.

I am stuck using a 15" Macbook Pro "Late 2013" and really am sick of Mavericks. Please advise, anyone, with options I can try. I am not a complete novice computers by any means but admittedly have limited experience in the Linux world.
