Asked by William Haig

I have no access to three files in the File system File Manager=LOST+FOUND,ROOT,and VMLINUZ. They have a X over them and when I click message says access denied I know there is files in there because if I try to download a second file with same name it says file already exists do you want to overwrite also computer keeps crashing after running for some time ( various times) no particular time??

They are root owned, so your user will not have access to them. These are system files too so why are you poking around at them anyway?

Thanks

Have you tested your RAM using Memtest86+ from Grub? If there are RAM errors it may explain the crashes.
