hpDeskjetD1560 prints very slow

my printer HPDeskjetD1560 takes about an hour to print a page on MS and Ubuntu i have doen loaded new soft ware on MS but to no avail, i havent down loaded for Ubuntu yet but i am sure there is another problem that i cannot sort out, it has been going on for a year now !!

This sounds like a general issue with the printer. You should check the connection (cable, network…) or contact the HP support. They know more about such kind of problems.
