Sound converter leaves small gaps in waveform

Asked by Graeme Leigh

Trying to use Sound Converter to change wma files to mp3 format.
Sound converter makes the conversion but leaves small gaps in the resultant waveform which translate as clicks or pops when the mp3 is played ( I have a screencap of themp3 loaded into Audacity which clearly shows the problem ). .
If I load the same wma file into Audacity and export it as an mp3 it has no such problem.

Also shows how to do it in Ubuntu in CLI manual style. Handy
