What video chip do you use?
Does the system have a make and model?
Is the system fully updated?

How can anyone possibly advise when you give zero details.....we can't see your system.

i am really very happy and also a bit discourage by my incapacity and the time that i rob from anybody who looked and gave attention to the topic i post. the problem of my computer was a graphic problem and was cause (i hope) by wrong setting at bios level in the bios there is a graphic choice between SWITCHABLE and UMA, mine was by Lenovo wrongly settled on SWITCHABLE instead the correct setting for ubuntu appear to be UMA.
i have to say that with Windows the setting SWITCHABLE was working properly
I hope the time I robbed to anybody was looking at my post is pardon and may be the fortunate solution could help somebody

as it appear to be a lait motiv i have to make a pass back and say that nothing is solved because i find out that setting the bios on UMA you exclude the graphic card and instead SWITHCABLE is the opportune setting so sorry but nothing appen
