sudo: apt-get: command not found

Asked by Srihari Gajulapalli

when I type the following commang in terminal it shows command not found.

-->> sudo apt-get install git gnupg flex bison gperf build-essential

Actually it was working before. But suddenly it got stopped working.
Please suggest me something to recover from this.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; ls -la /usr/bin/apt-get; ls -la /usr/bin/dpkg

If you COPY and paste the command as one, you won't botch the command. Why do you think I give the exact command. Copying and pasting reduces errors significantly.

What is the output of:

echo $PATH
