After updating ubuntustudio 14.04 to current, what's wrong with the network settings in the top bar?

Asked by Éric Tremblay

There seems to be a problem with the network settings icon in the top bar. The "disconnect" item in the menu is disabled/greyed out, and clicking "information" gives me a box that says:

Error displaying connection information:
No valid active connections found!

My network settings still work fine, though there is some weirdness: my network card is suddenly "eth1" instead of "eth0" (though it still gets configured properly) and ifconfig -a doesn't show a "eth0" interface.

I suggest you report a bug. Trusty is not ready and not stable.
