ntlm_auth reports Broken Helper:

I have been trying to get ntlm auth installed and running on ubuntu 14.04.

I've got my server joined to the windows domain and checked this is working with Wbinfo

I've also checked that ntlm auth is working via the cli

However When I add the auththenication of the my apache config I get:

 ntlm_auth reports Broken Helper: BH NT_ STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL

in the error.
