ata_id [251]: HDIO_GET_IDENTITY failed for ' /dev/sdb ' : Invalid argument.

Hola buenas. Tengo un disco duro externo de 500 GB, cuando arranco el pc, después del logo de la bios, si no lo conecto al pc no hay mensaje de error, pero si lo conecto, a veces me aparece este mensaje:

ata_id [251]: HDIO_GET_IDENTITY failed for ' /dev/sdb ' : Invalid argument.

Lo he probado en otros 2 pcs, apagándolos y reiniciandolos y el mensaje no aparece.

Buenas compañeros. La solución es instalar solamente Ubuntu 14.04 y olvidarse de Windows. El solo trae problemas. Sin en cambio con Ubuntu todo son mejoras, ventajas, estabilidad, menos preocupaciones, además de ser más rápido, estable, seguro, fiable... etc
Quienes todavía useis Windows os aconsejo que consigais las aplicaciones que usais con él para Ubuntu, eso sí que sean nativas, ya que son más sencillas de manejar y más rápidas de instalar.
