I am unable to find anythng...

By the way, I rade the reviews of "netspeed" from ubuntu software center .

I found reviews like "Works like a charm on Gnome. Doesn't work on Unity yet."

I am new to ubuntu.

Can you please explain what is Gnome and Unity, and which one I am having ?

Do we have any way to launch the application from terminal ?

Thanks

Have you read the instructions in http://www.ubuntugeek.com/netspeed-traffic-monitor-applet-for-gnome.html as already asked more than a month ago? Does that work? If not - what problem do you experience?
