terena ssl certificate issue

Hi,

I setup a git/mercurial server in my lab with https access, ubuntu users have trouble to push/pull code on the server because the system doesn't seems to be able to validate our server certificate. But Firefox validate the certificate and on other distrib and Windows it works, is there any missing entry in the trusted entity list on ubuntu(12.04)?
Adding the our server certificate manually in /usr/share/ca-certificate/... works.
