tax software

Asked by davidzaq1

Hello,

I am looking for a tax program, something similar to turbo tax or quicken that will allow me to do my takes on Ubuntu 13.04 or 13.10 once I upgrade to it.

I found one program that I downloaded but can't figure out how to run it. It may need to be built but I have no experience with this and have no clue even what to do with this.

I have tried downloading wine but anything I download and try to use with wine never opens.
I am not sure if there is a trick to making programs run in wine.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you

Please read this alternative procedure:

http://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/?view=mobile

You can install and use Snaptax on your Android device or install TurboTax for iPad, if you have an ipad.

Or you can use the Turbotax website, so that you do not need to install anything in Ubuntu.

I believe that the online Turbotax website is here:

https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Can you help with this problem?
