HP Probook 4520s

Asked by Mike Stroud

I have an HP Probook 4520s running Windows XP. I need to upgrade my OS as XP support will be discontinued in April. My HP laptop is not on your list of certified hardware. What do I do? I'd like to try Ubuntu, but not if it won't work on my computer.
Thanks.

You can try Ubuntu without installing it:

Download the Ubuntu installation kit from http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop , burn it to a CD or create a bootable USB stick with it, and boot your computer from that device.
Select "Try Ubuntu without installing it" and you will get an idea how Ubuntu looks and feels, and whether it runs well on your machine.

Does your probook have AMD or Intel graphics?
