Ubuntu 13.10 HUD is not working for google chrome

Asked by Mayur Hulsar

I have upgraded my computer lately from Ubuntu 13.04 to 13.10. I m surprised that its no more working for indicator panels. I was not able to change wallpaper from Variety, cannot disconnect my wifi nor can shutdown pc. It was so convenient using just Alt and few keywords.

To make matters worse I found that the HUD is not working for Google Chrome too. why? Is there any way to fix this?

Surprisingly its working with Firefox.

@actionparsnip I tried to create bug report, but its telling me that Chrome is third party package and cannot be reported. Help! :(

The reason it doesn't work is because the HUD requires the menu items to be set up differently (can't remember how exactly), and chrome hasn;t been ported to do this yet. I'm not sure how you'd file a bug, unless chrome is in launchpad. If so, report it there instead.

Can you help with this problem?
