An unwanted 'quick key' for the terminal 'Set Title'

Asked by richs

The letter 'm' has been somehow inserted as a 'quick key' to 'Set Title' on the terminal. Every time the letter 'm' is keyed in on the terminal session the 'Set Title' window pops up and will not allow me to enter any further commands or options. I am running Ubuntu 7.04. I need to somehow reset the 'quick key' and also understand how it got set in the first place.

You can clear the shortcut by opening the Edit menu in the terminal window and choosing "Keyboard Shortcuts". Then scroll don until you see the "Set Title" option. You will probably see the "m" as shortcut. Put the cursor on the shortcut field and press backspace to remove the shortcut.
How the shortcut got set, we can only guess....

Can you help with this problem?
