Problem with Ubunutu's installation

Asked by giovanni

I've changed my motherboard and my CPU into a Gigabyte 775 and a Intel Pentium 4 HT (3.2 Ghz).
While I'm installing Ubuntu 5.10 Breezy, I receive an error:

"hub 5-8:1.8: over current change on port 6"
"Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE driver Revision:7.00alpha2"
ide:Assuming 33Mhz system bus speed for P10 modes (here i cn't read the error, it's too fast) idebus:xx"
"ACPI:bus type ide registred"
"piix loaded succesfully"

and so on.

Then the error continues also during the congifuration post installation.
How can I solve the problem?

The messages you posted are 'normal' linux kernel output and do not look very scary. Please provide a better description what exactly fails.
