cannot delet lanunchpad

how do I remove lanunchpad from ubuntu 13.10

I don't know the program lanunchpad.

You can all installed programs remove with "sudo apt-get remove NAME_OF_THE_PACKAGE" in the terminal.

Hi. Firstly I suggest to check, which excatlly packages are installed and related to launchpad, e.g.: 'dpkg -l |grep lauchpad' command (without quotes). Next, remove packages which you want to get rid of, e.g.: 'sudo apt-get --purge remove pkg-name' command. I guess it's all.

Then search software centre or use dpkg as people above have said and remove it

dpkg -l |grep lauchpad did copy paste on terminal..no out put just went back to prompt

How are you making this 'launchpad' run exactly?

Click icon to search computer click apaliocations..if it does not appear enter L and it shows as first icon..also has icon at bottom of launcher bar
