How to use easy cap on ubuntu 12.04

Hi all,
i am using ubuntu 12.04, how to use easy cap on this. is there any driver required to install to make work on ubuntu 12.04 and what is the basic usage of easy cap mans
1.how to set up easy cap
2. Is there any driver to install this device to work
3. usage of this device.
please tell me ?

What is easy cap? There is no Ubuntu application with that name.

With the device inserted, please run:

lsusb; lsb_release -a; uname -a

Linux sees it as what it is. You drive the controller chip which is an STK1160. The text printed on the plastic case does not change what is in the device
