is there such a thing as defragmenting a drive as in windows. If so should I do it and how?

Asked by ngodfather114

Hey linux world. No major emergency here I was just wondering since I've been used to(dare I say it) windows if I should be defragmenting my hard drive? If so then how do I do it with my new ubuntu 7.10? If I don't have to do it then just say so. Thanks for the help.
