Boot order

Asked by William Booker

I installed Ubuntu and then Kubuntu to see which one I preferred. Ubuntu won but the boot order showed Kubuntu to load first. I installed Grub Customizer to change the order but Kubuntu is not shown in the list, what do I do to change it?

Why did you install both. You can install the kubuntu-desktop package on Ubuntu and then choose the desktop environment at login.

You are wasting drive space as the data is 100% identical except the default desktop

Why install like this?

Yours is not to reason why, but to help. I'm very very new to these OS's. They are different in the way they display.
