Ubuntu Update Manaeger will not load. I use the tweak app and I must have deleted the wrong files?

Asked by Tyrone Hills

Could not initialize the package information

An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

'E:Type 'sudo' is not known on line 8 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list'

I'm not clear with the instructions here. How to put the code in the terminal!

Hi there, Andrew

sorry about the response time, but I solved the problem by letting the (Compiz pack finish downloading). Rebooted the PC and the App worked like a pro everything so far is fine!

Thank's again
