Question there about 13.10 will it go easly into gnome classic

Asked by Lynne Stevens

I downloaded 13.10 and did a trail thing looks okay the video is working ( something 13,04 did not do ) So I like Gnome classic as the way to run it 1 less click of a mouse to get something working
Is it there to use or do I have to do the stuff I did to get 12.04 into Gnome Classic ?

Install gnome-panel. If you like the 2 panel old style session then you can use Xubuntu and get that easier. Xubuntu is just as supprted as Ubuntu and by the same community

you can install A.gnome shell with its extentions e.t.c.,B.window manager gnome with flashback or C. -i would suggest to you- gnome desktop environmet which includes many components.if you have gnome shell you will use gnome tweak tool and you may have to install gnome shell extentions from command line to have special effects in panel and dash, transparent e.t.c.ii have everything and inspite of that i ended to unity and kubuntu.some gnome shell extentions do not work in 13.10.
