no workspace switcher and poor bluetooth action

After upgrade to 13.10, launcher has no workspace switcher and the bluetooth mouse is not connected immediately. Both worked flawlessly in 12.04LTS.

super +S does not show the workspaces .
Bluetooth only works when working with the bluetooth GUI.

Help is needed.

Forget it. 12.04LTS reinstalled, that fixed it.
