Ubuntu version for students to add users

Is there a version of Ubuntu for students to use where they can add users & groups in a "su" mode/account? This is neccesary for me to complete a class.

There is Edubuntu - http://www.edubuntu.org/ - Ubuntu Education Edition.

It's an official version of Ubuntu Linux designed for use in classrooms and schools.
