No workspace switcher in 13.10

After upgrade to 13.10 the workspace switcher is not available in the launcher (or anywhere else)

How to get it back?

Yes, Ihave all other items in the launcher, but no workspace switcher.

If you press the shortcut to show workspaces are you presented with them as if you'd used the icon?

Pressing Super+S gives nothing, also pressing Super alone lists shortcuts, but the workspace switcher shortcuts do not show, including the header.

And BTW bluetooth on this laptop still does not work as it should, I shall open the previous post again.
